Emma's birthday, cards and pressies received!

Today is Emma's 11th birthday, for the last 3 1/2 years I've been making lunch on a Mondays and Thursdays for Emma and her brother, Thomas. Emma is in Ryan's class and Thomas in Greg's class and all 4 kids are great friends, their conversation around the table at lunchtimes is very entertaining! Emma has the flu which is a shame on her birthday so we're popping round to give her a present. She likes making cards so I've got a SU! punch ready for her. I was looking for an idea to wrap it and stumbled on this decorated bag by Anette, a German démo. It was one of the swaps at Convention and I thought I'd put it to good use instead of leaving it lying in a box!
The postie brought more cards and presents today, cards from Murielle and Elise, thank you very much.
Also a card and a butterfly punch from Jenny (Stamping Moments). I was so touched that she thought of me, I love the punch, the butterflies are adorable, I may have to use it to make my daily card! That will have to be later on as I'm waiting to take some apple and mincemeat crumble out of the oven to take to Emma's mum, miam!

Yes mum-in-law, we do know that it is Ailsa's birthday today and did send a hand made card last week which is probably stuck in the snow somewhere! The boys were going to call her tonight. x
