When I stayed with Monica (and had a fab time) in the summer I had a day shopping in York while she was working. Bliss to walk around and nosey in all the shops! When I'm back in Scotland in the summer I don't have access to card making supplies and I don't cook much, I have to have a crafty release so I usually knit something for my niece. Greg has been asking me for something 'made by mum' for ages but I had no idea what to make until I found this wool in a quaint shop in York. I fell in love with it but then nearly fainted at the till when I found out it was hand dyed and cost £30 for 4 balls, I took it anyway. Luckily, Greg loved it and I'll make blooming sure he wears this 'ensemble' this winter when it's cold. Anyway, I promised Monica that I'd show her the end result so this English message is for her.
