Banana Bread!

Just for a change I thought I'd show you what I've been making this morning. The boys were away early for a day trip to an amusement park/Zoo called 'Le Pal' so I got myself motivated to go for a brisk walk before my shower. The sun was shining which helped a lot!
Anyway, this is a recipe for Banana Bread' sent to me by Loris in Australia, it's perfect when you have 2 or 3 bananas going brown or even black in the fruit bowl. It literally takes less than 5 minutes to mix up then 30mins in the oven and it tastes good. Not only that, it's reasonably healthy as there's no butter or margarine in it.

Banana Bread

3 small or 2 large bananas
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup self raising flour
pinch of salt

Mash bananas and sugar together, add other ingredients and mix well.
Put into a greased loaf tin and bake at 180°C for 30 mins. Slice and serve with butter or plain.

Ryan and Greg love this and devour it when it is still warm from the oven!

Speaking of Ryan and Greg, at long last they've had haircuts, here they are just after the visit chez la coiffeuse!
